Dr. Irina Krasnapolskya

Irina Krasnopolskaya is a sociologist (MA, Manchester, 2006) with an interest in nonprofit sector and philanthropy studies. She holds a Doctorate degree (The Radboud University, 2021) and worked in academia for the last 12 years. Prior to the Institute of Law and Philanthropy appointment, she worked at the Higher School of Economics in Moscow, where she conducted academic and applied research, as well as teaching. Irina’s interests cover equality infrastructure and practices of philanthropy and volunteering, institutional context and government-nonprofit relationships in non-Western contexts and methodology of sociological research.
